Dr Scamp is a fully qualified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Scamp serves on the advisory board for companies involved in the development of cosmetic injectables and breast augmentation surgery. He has been involved in the development of 3D imaging systems used extensively in plastic surgery for Breast Augmentation, Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) and Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and in the use of Injectables to shape the Asian nose and face.

Dr Scamp is an invited speaker at both local and international meetings on such topics as facial injectables, breast surgery and 3D imaging.

Dr Scamp has been in practice on the Gold Coast since 1991 when he returned from several years spent abroad completing his plastic surgery training. His practice focuses on cosmetic surgery of the face and breast, rhinoplasty and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
