Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr Luke Stradwick has performed over 15,000 surgeries and is highly regarded by his colleagues and peers for his technical skill and clinical ability, along with his mastery in being able to minimise scars. Dr Stradwick is also renowned for his approachable nature and commitment to working with his patients to understand their needs and provide them with outstanding results. Dr Stradwick and his equally caring and focussed team ensures his patients are looked after from their very first consultation right through to the post-surgery care.
A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Dr Stradwick has worked and trained at some of the best hospitals in Australia, including the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he completed his initial training with Honours; Royal Prince Alfred, St Vincent’s, Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney, before settling on the Gold Coast.
In addition to completing four years of general cosmetic and plastic surgery training, Dr Stradwick also has extensive training in hand surgery, one of the more difficult and precise areas of surgery. Dr Stradwick covers almost all plastic surgery procedures from reconstructive to cosmetic, including all breast procedures, face and body procedures.
Dr Stradwick’s philosophy is, “I never accept “ok” and have an innate drive to seek perfection in everything I do. Every stitch must be perfect or it comes out and gets re-done. That’s how you get the best possible scars. And that’s what my patients deserve.”
