Between 1982 and 2008, Dr Jenkins visited Royal Brisbane Hospital as a Public Hospital Specialist with Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as pursuing an active private practice. During those years, vast reconstructive experience was combined with a busy cosmetic surgical practice. Leaving the Royal Brisbane Hospital has permitted further development of private practice surgery full time. Aesthetic (Cosmetic) surgical activity is combined with extensive practice in skin surgery, particularly in regard to skin cancer – a major Queensland problem.
