Experience – More than 18,000 Procedures

Graduating with 1st Class Honours at the University of Sydney in 1989, Dr Cope completed a year of full-time research, obtaining a BSc (Med) with Distinction.
After graduation, Dr Charles Cope underwent General Surgery Training at Royal North Shore Hospital and Dr Cope then went on to complete his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training in 1999. Dr Cope then underwent further specialised training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery including working in the USA for 2000 & 2001. Dr Cope’s experience also includes 4 years serving on the Council of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the body regulating Plastic Surgeons in Australia.
Dr Charles Cope has performed more than 18,000 plastic surgery procedures in the last 20 years. It is important to realise that Specialist Plastic Surgeons are the only specialty accredited surgeons by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) who are authorised to perform cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
