CLATUU Freezing Fat Away is a new treatment that helps reduce fat deposits in otherwise hard to treat areas. We always love something that can help us with this! Let’s get a run down on how it works. Apoptosis. What? Apoptosis. This is a natural process where the fat cells of our body die naturally. CLATUU induces this process in order to reduce the fat layer and can treat different stubborn areas such as:
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Upper back
- Lower back
- Inner arms
- Other areas where difficult, stubborn bulges reside
CLATUU Freezing Fat Away works by:
1. Controlled temperature delivery into fat layers to induce apoptosis
2. Freeze fat cells with no damage to normal surrounding tissue
3. Fat cells are gradually eliminated from your body naturally
4. Patients experience noticeable, measurable change on the target area
CLATUU has dual handpieces and two types of applicators that are able to work simultaneously which increases the amount of areas you can treat and saves you and your patients’ valuable time.
The cooling system is controlled in a safe and precise manner that doesn’t damage the surrounding tissues and only affects the targeted fat cells. This means it has virtually no downtime and patients are able to return to their normal routine shortly after the treatment.
Q. Are there any side effects?
A. Very rarely. Some patients might experience minor bruising or a light tingling sensation, but this is temporary. Some of these symptoms might not appear until 5-7 days later. you may experience some transient numbness on the treated area that rarely lasts more than 2 weeks.
Q. How many treatments are needed?
A. This is decided on a patient-to-patient basis prior to the first treatment. CLATUU Freezing Fat Away treatments can be repeated at 90 day intervals on the same area.
Q. What can be expected during the procedure?
A. There will be a pulling sensation as the skin is being positioned into the applicator. The cooling process begins right away, which the patient will feel for the first 8 minutes. Thereafter, the area will feel numb. After the applicator is removed, the treated area feels cold and hard – like an ice popsicle. Then the practitioner does a manual massage of the treated area, which helps your treatment result and gets the skin back to its normal temperature.
Q. How long do treatments take?
A. Standard treatments will run for 40-60 minutes at controlled temperature yielding visible and measurable results within the 6-12 week window with continuous improvement thereafter.
Q. How much do treatments cost?
A. Approx $550 – $650 per site.
